TWO INGREDIENT DIY DRY SHAMPOO

by Expertish

Oily scalp is a living nightmare and to cope with it requires a lot of efforts. Dry shampoo can be a true saviour but to be honest they are a little expensive and using it too often can effect your scalp by creating excess buildup. Moreover they only mask the dirt and some of the dry shampoos have harsh ingredients like aerosol which can be toxic for one’s respiratory system. So what’s the best way to have bouncy locks and skipping your shampoo at the same time? We have come up with a tried and tested two ingredient dry shampoo you can make instantly and for that you just need to pay a visit to your kitchen.

INGREDIENTS:
1. CORN STARCH
2. COCOA POWDER

INSTRUCTIONS
Take equal amount of corn starch and cocoa powder depending on the oiliness of your scalp. If your hair are a bit darker in shade then add a pinch of charcoal powder. Those who have blonde roots should add one fourth amount of cocoa powder or you can skip it too. Mix it well and take a kabuki brush or fluffy powder brush to apply it on your scalp. Rub in the product to decrease the greasiness.

ALSO NOTE:
Though this is an easy recipe but we don’t advice you to use it too often because natural or store bought, neither of the dry shampoo should be applied too often. Cleansing your hair from time to time is really essential and to have a healthy scalp you must not use dry shampoo not more than two times a week.
